Dotty

‘Dotty was a hard working ringer back in the day but has retired to enjoy the finer things in life. She was the best in the west on the stations, working every muster season, swinging through the property and reporting to the mobs whereabouts back to the drovers!’

Dotty raised a beautiful family, and they all lived on the road. She is now thankful though, for her permanent home in an old gum tree at Davenport Downs Station.

This old girl enjoys her home among the gum trees, watching a sheep or two and a kangaroo, in her old rocking chair. Nothing quite beats having the time to watch your family grow!
