Damper's an Aussie classic, mate!
It's a simple, no-fuss bread that the old bushies used to whip up when they were out in the scrub. All you need is flour, a bit of salt, and water—maybe a splash of milk if you’re feelin' fancy. You mix it all up into a dough, slap it into the coals of a campfire, and let it bake till it’s golden. It’s best enjoyed hot, slathered with a bit of butter or golden syrup. Perfect with a cuppa, especially when you're out in the middle of nowhere.
