Rebbs

‘Rebbs is a book worm with a passion for the past. No member of the Crackerverse has a more passionate love of trivia!’

Her favourite fact to share is that her kind are the only member of the ‘Black Snake’ family who gives birth to live young!

The history of her ancestors is a dog’s breakfast though, with dodgy facts and incorrect tidbits.
Once upon a time, her ancestors were considered to be Mulga Snakes and it was also thought that King Brown Snakes were just female Red Bellied Black Snakes!

Roger & Rosie

“This brother and sister duo are like chalk and cheese! Rosie is loud and manic... While her bro Roger is centred and calm”

Born in Darwin, these nectar loving siblings, spend most of their day hanging out in their favourite type of trees called the Darwin Woollybutt!

Since all Lorikeets are monomorphic, you can barely tell these two apart but that doesn’t mean they are anything alike.. ( Besides their insatiable taste for the sweet nectar of a wattle flower of course! )

Even though they fight and bicker, you will never separate these colourful siblings!

Sydney

‘One of the most venomous spiders in the world, but so rarely seen Sydney has spent over 18 years in her silk lined burrow, in the Morbank Botanic Garden. She comes out, only when dragged by her mates, and doesn’t really enjoy the adventure at all!’

Her burrow is bigger than the average funnel web because Sydney has a passion for cave diving. When she was a spiderling, she decided to expand her burrow, unearthing a small cave entry. She loves to go spelunking, exploring all the nooks and crannies in her down time.

This reclusive web designer is as shy and reserved as they come... So when she’s around you know it’s a special event!

Tummy

Part of the kangaroo family, this Macropodidae loves to smile. Known as the happiest animal on the planet, this shy little dude lives the island life out on Rottnest Island. Sandy white beaches and a carefree lifestyle would be enough to make anyone happy!

Tummy is a herbivore so he loves to eat leaves, stems and grass but his absolute favourite is the guichenotia ledifolia, a flowering shrub native to Western Australia.

He also loves to float around the island at night and watch the stars when all the toursits have gone home, and it’s nice and quiet.

Wombaz the wombat, or just Baz to his close friends, will always cheer you up. While wombats are not commonly found in The Kimberleys Baz has made a name for himself for his cheerful attitude and love of flowers. This love of sweet smelling botanics does land him in trouble from time to time, like when he can’t help himself but to gobble them up! Which has led to many bee stings on his big nose for his troubles!

Wombats are famous for square poo and for having a tough hide. But there is nothing tough or square about this round, brown sweetheart.
